World number 17 Ronnie Baxter played magnificently in Hildesheim Germany last weekend  at the German Darts Championship.

Baxter beat Belgian Dimitri van Den Bergh 6-2, Jamie Caven 6-4, Mervyn King 6-5 , 5 times World Champion Raymond  van Barneveld  6-2 to reach his first ever Euro Pro Tour Semi Final before losing to eventual winner Gary Anderson 6-4.

The “Rocket" looked more than capable of winning the tournament outright and will be pleased with his performances in front of the packed German crowds. The only disappointment of the weekend for Ronnie was losing his watch, a Christmas gift from fiancée Liz.
