Bristol's Steve “The Bomber" Brown continued his recent form by qualifying for the Prestigious European Pro Tour event being staged in Gibraltar at the end of June (28th-30th).
Brown who whitewashed Steve Hine and then beat Michael Baynard to qualify will look forward to the 64 man £100,000.00 tournament.
Currently rated 38 in the PDC order of merit Brown has slowly but surely been putting together some impressive performances of late. Last weekend in the Players Championship Qualifiers in Wigan on Saturday Steve beat World number 15 Paul Nicholson and former 2 time World Champion John Part before succumbing 6-3 to World under 21 Champion Michael Smith 6-3.
The weekend’s results will also put Brown in the right frame of mind for the forthcoming UK Open finals being staged at the Reebok Stadium and being shown live on ITV4 from the 6th-9th June.
The "FA Cup" of darts event will also see fellow JBD players Ken McNeill and Premier League star Andy Hamilton compete.
