Steve Brown reached the last 16 of the German Open last weekend. The "Bomber" beat former Premier League Champion Gary Anderson 6-2 in the first round and Stoke's in form Ian White in the second round by the same score.
Unfortunately Steve could not overcome Welshman Richie Burnett in the next round but the signs look good for Steve in what is a very busy month for the Bristol boy.
Steve will be playing in the Players Championship qualifiers this weekend in Barnsley before flying back out to Sindelfingen in Germany on the 20th for the next German Open. The following weekend Brown will be fishing in the PDC charity fishing event on Friday 27th in Hertfordshire then he will finish his month by appearing in the JBD Butlins event on Sunday 29th in Minehead Somerset along with former Players Championship Champion Kevin Painter, Premier League star Wes Newton and Darren Webster. The weekend’s success also moved Brown back up the PDC ratings by two places.
