CAMACHO LISTENS AND LEARNS

Posted in General

Wadi Camacho boxed to orders on Saturday night at London's ExCel arena and put in a polished display before stopping Doncaster's John Anthony in 3 rounds.

28 year Camacho was having his first fight back since losing to Tony Conquest in a British Title Cruiserweight Eliminator in October and the improvement was noticeable.
With a new hands up chin down approach Wadi moved comfortably in and out of range whilst evading clubbing right hands from his smaller opponent.

The end in the third round was brought by a  well time left hand to the body which dropped Anthony for a count of nine. The Doncaster man bravely continued but Camacho advanced and continued with well placed shots to his opponents torso and after dropping Anthony again the referee waved the fight over.

The new year looks promising for the Canning Town man and with his promoters Matchroom boxing looking to make big Title fights in 2014 Camacho could be in the right place and the right time.
