This Saturday (October 5th) Wadi Camacho will fight Romfords Tony Conquest in an eliminator for the British Cruiserweight Title at London's o2 Arena.
The 28 year old will be seeking to establish himself as the mandatory challenger for the title and a good win against Conquest should put him in that position.
Both boxers come into the fight with title aspirations and will bring big support. But the heavy handed Camacho will be favourite and if he listens to his trainer and uses his skills and physical advantages he should push onto a British Title fight in the New Year.
Camacho is having his first fight under new manager Jess Harding who like Wadi boxed from the southpaw stance.
Harding who in the late 80's was rated inside the top 30 in the World and boxed Gary Mason for the Heavyweight Championship of Great Britain said,
" Wadi has trained unbelievably hard for this fight and if he listens to his trainer Don Charles and boxes instead of stands there trading shots should win comfortably".
The fight is being shown live on Sky at around 21.00 gmt on the undercard of the pro debut of Olympic Super Heavyweight Champion Anthony.Joshua.
