Leicester’s World Ranked Jamie Caven had another solid weekend in the Players Championships in Crawley on the 26 & 27 May.  Caven reached the last 16 on both days losing 6-5 to Ronny Baxter on Saturday and 6-5 to Simon Whitlock on Sunday.  The in-demand Caven then gave up his time to appear in a charity night for ‘Wishes 4 Kids’ in an exhibition match on Monday evening.Caven along with Darren Webster, Andy Hamilton and Steve Brown will then appear in an exhibition competition at Butlins in Minehead on the 6th June.  Day passes are available from Butlins.  Adults £18.00, children £9.00, ½ price after 12 noon.  All 4 players will then drive straight up to Bolton where they will be playing in the UK Open Finals from the 7-10 June.
