Bristol’s Steve Brown faces Andy “Pie Man” Smith today in his first round game at the Ladbrokes World Champion. The Bristol Bomber will be looking to take out the Studley Darts player in style. Having seen fellow Bristol resident Mark Dubridge fall at the first hurdle Steve will be wanting to keep the Cities interest in the competition alive.

 

Ranked 46 in the world Steve needs to show the kind of form that produced a nine dart finish at a players Championship Qualifier earlier in 2013. This is Steve’s sixth appearance at the World Championship’s and if he gets on a run he could be difficult to beat.
