Andy Hamilton begins his campaign at the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Sunday 11th November. Hamilton will play Brendan Dolan, Paul Nicholson and Barrie Bates in the preliminary group stages. The round robin event sees the winner and the runner up progress to the knockout stages later on during the week.
Andy who pulled out of last weekend’s Players Championship in Crawley due to a trapped nerve in his neck will be looking to continue the incredible success he has had in 2012. He is the only player in the PDC to have progressed to the quarter final stage of every TV event this year. It seems inevitable that he will finally lift a Major and the Grand Slam could be the one.
