HAMILTON MAKES IT THROUGH TO THE o2

Posted in General

Stokes Andy Hamilton pulled off the biggest win of his professional career last Thursday at Newcastles Metro Arena where he defeated Kevin Painter 8-1.  With the first game of the night seeing the World Champion Adrian Lewis slipping up against Simon Whitlock, the Painter victory saw Hamilton move into the top 4 for the first time in the competitions 14 weeks duration.  With 5 times World Champion Raymond Barneveld drawing against James Wade, Andy then moved up into third spot with a better legs against throw average.  Hamilton will now play Whitlock this Thursday 17th May in front of 10,000 fans and should he be successful will then play the winner of the Phil Taylor James Wade match in the final for the Premier League title and the £150,000 winners pay cheque.
