Norwich's rising darts star Jason Lovett had an outstanding weekend in the Euro Pro Tour Event in Muelheim Germany.
Lovett playing in his first year on the PDC tour had a first round win against German star Jyhan Artut coming from 4-2 behind to run out a 6-5 winner . In the second round on Saturday Jason comfortably beat number 16 seed Benito Van de Pas 6-4.
Moving into the last 16 stage on Sunday Jason played World number 1 Michael van Gerwin and although comprehensively beaten Jason will be pleased to have made further progress up the PDC order of merit rankings.
Before the tournament Jason was ranked at 109 on the order of merit but with the good performance over the weekend Lovett finds himself sitting just inside the top hundred for the first time in his career.
With his two Title wins in non PDC Championships over the summer and last weekends impressive performance Jason can go into the last quarter of the year full of confidence.
