MACNEIL KEEPS CLIMBING

JBD new boy Kenny MacNeil had a good weekend at the 3rd and 4th UK Open qualifiers  in Wigan picking up vital wins.The Canadian who is now based in the UK lost to fellow Canadian and former World Champion John Part on Saturday and then bumped into his very much in form fellow JBD player Darren Webster who defeated him 6-4 on the Sunday. But with wins against Dave Ladley, Gareth Pass, Stephen Hardy and Ewan Hyslop over the weekend MacNeil has risen from 136 to 110 in the PDC order of merit. Norwich's Darren Webster has also risen one place in the order of merit. He is now ranked 56 in the World. While Bristol’s Steve Brown stays at number 37 and Premier League star Andy Hamilton remains at number 6.
