JBD's annual "Night before the Players Championship " event at Butlins Minehead on November 23rd continues to grow. The Thursday night exhibition was staged in front of 2300 keen darts fans. Recently back from the USA where he had been recording ITV show Gone to Pot the News of the World winner and darts legend Bobby George along with Andy Fordham and ITV4 commentators Chris Mason and Alan Warriner entertained the masses in the four hour show. The players were joined by the popular PDC Dancers and PDC walk on girls Daniella Allfree and Charlotte Wood as well as London comic Kane Brown. In the first semi final Chris beat Alan Warriner followed by Bobby George defeating Andy Fordham. The final saw Bobby George roll back the years as he beat Chris comfortably 3 - 0. The customer feedback was extremely pleasing and we look forward to seeing numbers increase again in 2018 when the greatest darts player the world has ever seen Phil Taylor heads the line up.
