Darren Webster continued his good run of form with a solid weekend of darts at the European qualifiers and the Players Championship qualifiers 9 and 10. Friday saw the  world number 31 qualify for the £135000 Gibraltar Open by beating Wes Newton and Scott Darbyshire. The Gibraltar Open will be held over 3 days starting on May 12th. In Saturdays Players Championship 9 qualifier Darren reached the last 32 stage before losing 6-4 to premier league star Dave Chisnall. On Sunday Webster again reached the last 32 stage before losing 6-5 to Benito van de Pas. The Norfolk man is now in a great position to make qualification for the prestigious SKY televised World Matchplay championship held at Blackpools Winter Gardens from 22nd - 30th July.
