Southampton's Jimmy Cooper won his second professional fight on Saturday night against David Leo over 4 rounds. The outcome of the fight was never in doubt as the tall stylist dominated the fight with his jab. Cooper started well, moving forward and driving home solid jabs to his smaller opponents  face. The second round saw Cooper start to land straight right hands as Leo found little time to evade the determined Cooper. Cooper tried to finish the job in the fourth  but Leo hung on as the victorious Cooper was declared a 40-37 point winner.


Previously Leo had beaten Jimmy as an amateur so the win was a significant step forward. Expect to see Jimmy boxing again in June.
