The Target Sport Stars Fishing Championship was broadcast last night on ITV4 ( July 28th )The 2 hour show featured some of the biggest names in sport including, Barry Hearn, Steve Davis, Tony Bellew, Luke Littler, James Wade, Terry Butcher, Derek Redmond, Rob Cross, Adrian Lewis, Natasha Jonas, Ebanie Bridges and Gail Emms.

After 4 hours of competitive fishing, Team Topline, consisting of PDC multi event winner James Wade, snooker legend Steve Davis, darts player Lorraine Winstanley and veteran broadcaster Gary Newbon won the team event with a total wieght of 307lbs. In the singles event England Rugby Union player Ellis Genge, who was fishing for the first time, beat Steve Davis by a meagure 1lb. Ellis's winning weight was 89lbs 13oz and Steve's total was 88lbs 9oz.It was that close !
