Darren Webster, Ronnie Baxter and Steve Brown all played last weekend in the Players Championship Qualifiers and the Gibraltar UK Qualifier at Crawley.
Although all three failed to make the cut and qualify for the Gibraltar Open Baxter and Webster continued their impressive performances in the Players Championship Qualifiers.
Sunday's event saw Baxter and Webster reach the quarter final stage before losing to Justin Pipe and Stephen Bunting 6-5 respectively. Baxter's performance was all the more impressive after beating Premier League stars Wes Newton 6-3 and Robert Thornton  6-5 in the previous rounds.
It all but assures them qualifying positions through the Pro Tour order of merit for Julys prestigious Sky televised Matchplay tournament in Baxter's home town of Blackpool.
