Norwich’s World number 38 Darren Webster had a fine run in the second Euro Pro Tour held at Veldhoven last weekend. Ever improving Webster beat Mick Todd in the first round then came out on top against Jamie Caven in the second round 6-5.
Darren’s run came to an end on the Sunday at the last 16 stage when he lost to Stoke’s World number 16 Ian White 6-3.
With last weekend’s performance, Darren has all but guaranteed himself a spot in the prestigious World Matchplay being held in July at the Winter Garden in Blackpool.
