Darren Webster continued his impressive run of fortune last weekend at the Players Championship qualifiers in Wigan.

On Saturday the World number 43 reached the quarter final stage  and on Sunday he reached the semi finals.  His performance over the two days now leave him one place off automatic qualification for the Players Championship Finals, being held at Butlins at the end of the month.

The finals qualifiers are being held in Barnsley on Saturday 23 and 24th of this month and Webster will be looking for another solid weekend to cement his position in the ITV 4 televised event.
